Since graduating from the 'London College of Fashion' in 1993, Candy Anthony is enjoying the appreciation of her eveningwear and bridal range, from her boutique based in London’s most prestigious contemporary design centre-landmark, the OXO TOWER WHARF.
The Candy Anthony label was launched in 1996, from Kensington’s notorious 'HYPE DF', formerly 'Hyper-Hyper', where the designer ran her own retail unit establishing her eveningwear ranges. She sold her collections to over 30 outlets both in the UK and worldwide including Japan, Canada, Norway, Switzerland and Italy. She sold to London's 'Browns', South Molton Street; 'Hels Bels' and'Peter Golding, King's Road, Chelsea; 'Vanilla B', Brompton Road.
Candy designed packages for the Italian label 'Fiorucci' while based in Italy for two years; built up a clientele in St.Tropez and Monaco and created collections for 'TopShop' concessions.
Candy's celebrity clientele include Davina McCall, Andrea Corr, Kylie Minogue, Tamara Beckwith and Geri Halliwell among others, and she has a strong Chelsea socialite following. Her garments have been featured in leading publications such as 'VOGUE Italia', 'Marie Claire', 'Evening Standard's ES magazine', 'The Saturday Telegraph', 'Stuff', and she has appeared on the 'Style Queen' pages of 'Harpers and Queen' and 'ID'.
Due to both clients and market demands of the past three years, Candy Anthony has developed her 1950s-1960s inspired bridal range, where she expresses her talents as a couturier. What first started as a second range aside her eveningwear, has now become the core of the Candy Anthony's brand. The new bridal range has been featured in many leading bridal magazines, see our press page.
