Dear Candy, Please forgive my awful tardiness in getting back to you about the beautiful dream of a dress you created for my wedding last year. I think that the attached pictures are testament to its perfection and to how I felt in it. Thank you too, for the wonderful way you were. I sort of felt that coming to see you once every six weeks or so in the run up to the wedding served as a vital piece of spiritual preparation for the day! And as I was planning all of it by myself and struggled to deal with the last minute rush of activity, coming to see you and your lovely husband for my final fitting with three days to go was exactly what I needed just then. My sister, Katie Simms, will be contacting you soon about her wedding dress (even though she works as a doctor in Hull!). If I can possibly persuade my husband to allow me, I may even be in to see you myself for a low key sister-of-the-bride number. Hi Candy
Just thought you might like to see a pic or two of my wedding of 17th June. The dress was such a success: everyone thought it was beautiful. We didn't have official photos, so the pics are all a bit spontaneous and I doubt they'd be suitable for your website gallery! Sorry about that. "...I don't have a picture that really reflets the grandure of the absolutely gorgeous dress. I can tell you, however, that it stunned people to an extent i had never enticipated. Our photographer, who does lord knows how many weddings a year, gasped and blurted that it's the most beutiful dress he's seen this year. The hairdresser franticly took pictures and exclaimed "oh, it's just like a doll!!" And one of my guest, a friend of my mom, who happened to come with a camera, spent the better part of the wedding taking pictures of the dress. People adored it, and so have I.
